Simple Rules For Wealth On The Web

In an exclusive interview I had with Linda Proctor, she told me that over 23 years ago, her Husband, Bob Proctor stated, “Forget about thinking about earning a 0,000 dollars, or doubling your income; instead, can you see yourself doing two things differently everyday? Then, he gave me those two things and what I realized over the years is that every time you set a new goal, you are going to have to think of a couple of things that you are going to do different because you are not going to get different results doing those same things.”

This simple rule is how poor people can get rich and how rich people can stay rich – you must keep absorbing and applying information, skill sets and core competencies that your competitors and non-rich people are not willing to do!

Just learning one new skill set could double or triple your value. For instance, I learned how to use Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and two web-authoring programs; so that I could have more control over my online brand and business, as well as to shorten the barriers to entry with new products and services that I wanted to introduce to the market.

The fact that I can create, author and upload my own electronic files, i.e., eBooks, software, special reports, has assisted me in helping others take their business and the usage of their intellectual property to new heights. Imagine the power of being able to instantly upload your thoughts, words, knowledge and ideas to the world without having to spend excessive amounts of money to web masters who overcharge and under produce? Liberating!

As a matter of fact, anybody, including you, can do this. Trust me, given my background; I’m certain that this simple rule of doing something differently each day will alter the course of your history.

The other benefit of learning a new skill is being able to do what you want, when you want. For example, if I wanted to have something done, when working with my previous Webmasters, I had to wait until they got home from their “day” job, or when they got around to it because of other clients who were paying them more money. This frustration prompted me to take ownership of my eZine and my knowledge, so I learned a new skill set that potentially held me back from instant and unlimited profits.

So, here is my challenge to you. I would like for you to take a chance on expanding your knowledge and do what Bob Proctor told his wife, Linda to do: “Forget about thinking about earning a 0,000 dollars or doubling your income; instead, can you see yourself doing two things differently everyday?”

Rule One:
Make a list of your core competencies and knowledge that you take for granted.

Rule Two:
Identify the market and people who will purchase/buy your knowledge, and who would find it valuable.

Rule Three:
Put your knowledge into a physical form. i.e., Book, tape, eBook, Special Report, CD, Diskette.

Rule Four:
Identify the most efficacious means of distribution. i.e., Website, eZine, eNewsletter.

Rule Five:
Allow your customer and client instant gratification to your knowledge by creating downloadable information products and services.
