Handicapped

The word champion means winning or one who is capable of first place. A champion is a person who excels over all, not only people, but any handicap, adversity or challenge. To be handicapped is not the last word; yet, it often is because we see our limitations and not our successes. A handicap is a difficulty imposed on a person that’s slows progress and forward motion. A handicap is something that hinders a potential winner from becoming a champion. A handicap is a rude interruption while on our way to an event many times causing us to be less than winners.

Winning is the action of a person that wins. Loosing is the action of a person who sees their handicap and fails backward instead of forward.

People can have all their body parts and functions and still consider themselves handicapped because of their mindset from erroneous information gathered. No one is handicapped who sees their handicap as an opportunity for success and winning.

Who is a champion? It is one who practices a few simple disciplines every day for the rest of his or her life. Who is a failure? That is one who leaves unattended the daily errors in judgment resulting in chaos and future handicaps.

A Bumble Bee flies because it has no knowledge of the fact that it cannot. It is not designed to fly because its body is much too large for flight, yet it does.

Success and winning are what a person achieves when they disregard the negative message of, “Hey, that’s never been done before, who are you to even try?”

Champions are Champions because they acted like Champions long before they became Champions because they knew in their hearts they were going to become Champions.
