Is there anyone who really loves ME?
Yes! There is Someone who created you and who loves you intensely!
The chances are good that, like most people’s, your ideas about God are off the wall. A lot of people think He is a heartless bogeyman, ready to punish us for every little thing we do wrong. Or they get the idea that He doesn’t really care about us. Or think that He reserves His love for when we deserve it, as if we could deserve his love.
Imagine ?that you had the power to create life. Imagine that you wanted to create something beautiful, something unique, something unbelievably precious; some-one who you could give your heart you; your ultimate masterwork. You’ve already made so many things; beautiful, wonderful things, in amazing variety. But this—this is to be different. Higher. Better. Greater. You create this one with all your love, in your own image.
Then surely it’s logical
that you would love

Yes—just as much as God loves you. We are the most precious thing He has made. There are beautiful butterflies, fascinating flowers, incredible animals. But we are different. Higher. Better. Greater. Mankind is quite different to animals. Mankind is made in God’s image. And yes, I’m talking about you!

Forget it! This world is not just some little clod with accidental life on it, in an unmeasurable and meaningless universe. God has made this planet for us, the apple of his eye.
The eternal, invisible, almighty and endlessly creative God made life on our planet. And not just any old life. The most beautiful that there could be: living people able to think, feel, choose between good and evil, to love and to hate. A living being that is so complex, emotionally and mentally, so delicate and sensitive that we can only really function when we are loved and valued.

on love

on petrol
Without love, it all goes wrong. But God IS love. So He made you and me to live on love, like cars run on petrol. He made you and me to live in an environment filled with his never-ending love.
But…He gave us the choice. He gave us the freedom to choose between good and evil. The choice between Him, wanting to make us happy, or a life without Him, where we turn away from Him and go our own way. But then we try to full up our love-tank with anything we can find–except his love.
Are you surprised if life seems empty and unloving? In a world where most of us want nothing more to do with God? Where people even claim that he doesn’t even exist?
God loves you and wants to fill you up with his love. You weren’t made to live as you are now living, with the emptiness deep inside you, with that uncertain feeling that people don’t really love you for who you really are. God does love you, just as you are. Your good side and your bad side. He knows you through and through. He even knows how many hairs are on your head. He knows what you’re thinking, now at this very moment! If there were thousands of billions of people on this planet, then he’d still have time for you. After all, you are unique. There is no-one like you! There are no identical fingerprints.

You can clone a biological organism, but not a person. You are not just your limbs and your DNA, you are You, a unique, one of a kind person. A living soul. So complex, so mysterious that there couldn’t be another like you. And so, he loves you. To Him, you count, one hundred percent. Even if everybody in the world said you were worthless. He thinks you are great, just for who you are—You and no-one else!
